Lancaster Pride Festival 2025 - Save the date!
Lancaster, PA - October 16, 2024 - Mark your calendars! The Lancaster Pride Board has diligently contemplated a date best suited for the 2025 festival. Working with the local and surrounding LGBTQIA+ communities, a perfect date has been selected. The next Lancaster Pride Festival will be June 28th, 2025, at the Lancaster County Convention Center!
Most of the community will recognize this date as the 55th anniversary of The Stonewall Riots or simply, Stonewall. This anniversary is arguably the most pivotal moment in the LGBTQIA+ movement. Although the circumstances around Stonewall are rather bleak, the LGBTQIA+ community stood strong, rallied together, and persevered as they always have and always will. Through Stonewall, an international movement was born.
Lancaster Pride has seen our hometown festival attendance increase by thousands over the last several years. We have seen hundreds of vendors, dozens of performers, magical moments, and venue changes due to the sheer size of the turnout. As we grow, we must honor our humble beginnings, not just as a county but as a community bonded in history.
The Stonewall anniversary serves as a perfect reminder of how far we have come despite how far we must still go. Please join us as we celebrate our past and future on June 28th, 2025, at the Lancaster Pride Festival!
