Last Call for Pride Festival Sponsors; Volunteer Opportunities Now Available

Lancaster Pride is excited to announce that it will be hosting its 16th Annual Pride Festival on June 15, 2024, at the Lancaster County Convention Center. This celebration of love, acceptance, and diversity is a cornerstone event in the community, and Lancaster Pride invites individuals and businesses alike to join in supporting this impactful occasion.
As one of the most anticipated events in the region, the Lancaster Pride Festival promises an unforgettable day of music, performances, and community engagement, all dedicated to uplifting and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. This year’s festival not only marks over a decade and a half of advocacy and celebration but also reaffirms the ongoing commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality across Lancaster and beyond.

Calling All Volunteers!
Lancaster Pride is seeking passionate volunteers to help make this year's festival a success. Volunteers are crucial to the festival's operations, offering their skills in various roles, from event setup and logistics to guest services and activity coordination. Those interested in contributing their time and energy can expect a rewarding experience filled with fun and the joy of making a positive difference.

Evan Rowell, Assistant Director of the Lancaster Pride Festival, is coordinating the volunteer efforts. “Volunteers are the heart and soul of our festival. Every year, we are amazed by the community's enthusiasm and support. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or the whole day, your involvement will contribute significantly to the festival’s success,” Evan said. Each volunteer brings their own unique spirit and drive to the festival, making it a truly communal and celebratory event. We welcome everyone who wants to contribute to the success of Lancaster Pride.”

Sponsorship Opportunities
The success of the Lancaster Pride Festival also relies heavily on the generous support of local and national businesses. Sponsorship provides a unique opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment to diversity and inclusion while gaining significant exposure to a diverse and engaged audience. Jeff Roane, the Sponsorship Coordinator, emphasized, “Sponsoring Lancaster Pride is not just about having your name attached to an event. It’s about standing with and supporting the LGBTQ+ community in a meaningful way. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels valued and included.” We are currently seeking sponsors for this year's event. "Sponsoring the Lancaster Pride Festival is a powerful way to showcase your business’s support for the LGBTQ+ community and connect with thousands of attendees," Jeff explained. "We have a variety of sponsorship packages available, designed to accommodate different levels of contribution and exposure."

Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities can reach out to Jeff Roane at [email protected] for more information on how to get involved.

“We are thrilled to be gearing up for our 16th Annual Festival and look forward to creating an event that celebrates the identity and diversity of our community," said Craig Kazda, Director of the Festival. "Whether you’re looking to support us as a sponsor or join the team as a volunteer, your participation will be pivotal in bringing our vision for Lancaster Pride 2024 to life.” The Lancaster Pride Festival is not just a celebration but a platform for promoting visibility, equality, and understanding. This year’s festival aims to exceed expectations and set a new standard for inclusivity and celebration in Lancaster.
